Las Vegas museum offering STEM career program

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is celebrating Clark County School District’s spring break with a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) Career Quest.

The five-day drop-off program is designed for students ages 7-11 and aims to engage participants in the exciting world of STEM careers through a series of hands-on activities and experiments with industry professionals and graduate students sharing their educational experience and passion.

Each day of the week will focus on a different STEM career, offering an in-depth exploration of various fields and opportunities available to students. The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, March 11: Anthropology
  • Tuesday, March 12: Marine Biology
  • Wednesday, March 13: Medical
  • Thursday, March 14: Paleontology
  • Friday, March 15: Archaeology

The STEM Career Quest will run from Monday, March 11, to Friday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will close out with a STEM Career Rally on Saturday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
