ODU STEM & Esports Camps

Old Dominion University’s Department of Recreation & Wellness is proud to announce an innovative summer opportunity for youth ages 8-18: ODU STEM & Esports Camps. This unique camp experience combines the excitement of esports with the exploration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities, promising an unforgettable summer adventure.

The camp offers two distinct tracks tailored to different age groups:

For youth ages 8-14, the STEM track provides an immersive journey into the world of innovation and development. Participants will explore various STEM disciplines and tackle creative challenges. Campers will have the opportunity to unleash their curiosity and creativity in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Meanwhile, budding esports enthusiasts ages 13-18 can sharpen their gaming skills in the Esports track. Hosted in Old Dominion University’s state-of-the-art Monarch Esports Arena, participants will receive expert coaching and guidance to improve their gameplay across a range of popular esports titles. Whether they aspire to compete at a professional level or simply want to enhance their gaming abilities, this camp provides a platform for skill development, teamwork, and camaraderie among fellow gamers.

Both tracks offer an unparalleled opportunity for young minds to explore their passions, learn new skills, and forge lasting friendships in a vibrant and inclusive community.

Registration for ODU STEM & Esports Camps opens on March 1st and will remain open until May 17th. Parents and guardians are encouraged to secure their child’s spot early, as space is limited.
